      Objective

The Japanese Society for Bioinformatics (JSBi) promotes the following three topics. For details, please visit the 'About JSBi' page.
  1. Advancement of bioinformatics as academic research,
  2. Success of bioinformatics in technology and industry, and
  3. Establishment of bioinformatics in basic and advanced education.

      Special Interest Groups (SIGs) and Working groups (WGs)

The JSBi selected several key areas from the wealth of topics in bioinformatics, and started 'WGs and SIGs'.

      Annual Meetings and Journals

The JSBi's annual meeting is held as a poster session in the International Conference on Genome Informatics. The proceedings of this international conference will be published by the society as a volume in the Genome Informatics Series, and will be registered in Medline.
