opportunity to continue the scientific discussions: the 1st Asian Student
Council Symposium (#ASCS2022).
International Society for Computational Biology - Student Council (ISCB-SC
<https://iscbsc.org/>), together with the Regional Student Groups in Asia,
is organizing #ASCS2022 as a virtual event, held on December 10-11, 2022,
directly preceding GIW XXXI/ISCB-Asia V
<https://www.iscb.org/giw-iscb-asia2022> conference. #ASCS2022 will provide
a forum for students and early career researchers to present their work to
an international audience, build a network within the vibrant community,
and develop soft skills in an environment that fosters the exchange of
ideas and knowledge to achieve a brighter tomorrow for everyone.
Our symposium features eminent scientists from research and academia who
will deliver keynotes focusing on the latest developments in the
Computational Biology and Bioinformatics field. Besides that, our program
consists of 8-10 fantastic student talks, posters covering various topics,
and two workshops focusing on *single-cell sequencing* and *reproducible
data analysis*.
We believe this event is of interest to you and your colleagues; we kindly
request you share this email with anyone you think might be interested.
You can present your fantastic research work to our audience by submitting
an abstract.

Registration is mandatory to attend our event and is free for the attendees

or ISCB members; otherwise, a nominal fee is associated with the
registration.
