InCoB2013 ( will be held inTaicang (China), Sep 20-22, 2013. The main hosts are Taicang Centerfor Translational Bioinformatics (TCTB), Center for Systems Biology(CSB), Soochow University and Asia-Pacific Bioinformatics Network(APBioNet).

InCoB2013 has overall objective to provide a platform for experts andbudding bioinformaticians to discuss and exchange ideas and thoughtson the development of bioinformatics in the Asia Pacific region.Beginning in 2002, InCoB has grown to become one of the largestbioinformatics conferences in the Asia-Pacific region. This annualconference exhibits the latest researches and technologies in allareas of bioinformatics and now it is attended by practitioners fromboth biology fields and computing backgrounds in the Asia-Pacificregion.

The theme for InCoB2013 will be "Biomedical Informatics in the BigData Era: Data-Driven Biology and Medicine". Therefore, the conferenceaims to promote the integration of bioinformatics, imaginginformatics, clinical informatics and health informatics forunderstanding of complex biological and medical phenomenon as well asto encourage the exchange of scientific breakthrough amongstparticipants. InCoB2013 will include the latest bioinformatics andrelated topics on translational bioinformatics, population genetics, drug design and discovery, biomarker identification, systems biology, biological sequence analysis, expression data analysis, scalable datastorage and other relevant subjects.

Besides InCoB2013, the 2nd International Conference on TranslationalBiomedical Informatics (ICTBI 2013 jointly hosted by TCTB and CSB at the same time period and venue.
