The Eleventh Workshop on Genome Informatics (GIW 2000)focuses on Genome Informatics,including,but not limited to,the following areas related to Genome Science:genome database,unified database,knowledge extraction from literature,knowledge discovery and data mining from databases,sequence analysis,comparative genomics,motif extraction and search,multiple alignment,phylogeny tree,linkage analysis program,gene structure and function prediction,protein structure and function prediction,gene expression profile analysis,pathway analysis,proteome analysis,gene network analysis,systems for supporting experimental works (mapping,sequencing,primer design,etc.),simulation of biological system,DNA computing,artificial life, which are overall related to Genome Science.
