Tokyo(Haneda) International Airport is much closer than Tokyo(Narita) International Airport.

Access from airports by bus

The public bus service called “Airport Limousine” is available from both airports.
They have direct service from the airport to various point including the hotel Grand Pacific le DAIBA. (The Grand Pacific le DAIBA is the nearest point from the venue. It takes about 5 – 10 minutes walk from the hotel to the venue.)

From Narita to Grand Pacific le Daiba, the fare is 2,800 Japanese Yen and duration is about 80 – 100 minutes.

Access from airports by train

From Narita, Keisei line is convenient.

If you take “Sky access express”, you can come to “Shimbashi” station via direct service. Transfer to Yurikamome line at Shimbashi.

If you take other trains, you will come to “Nippori” station, then you change train to “JR Yamanote line (the green line)” or “JR Keihin-Tohoku line” (the sky-blue line) at Nippori to Shimbashi. Transfer to Yurikamome line at Shimbashi.

From Haneda, Keikyu line is convenient.

Some of the trains come to “Shimbashi” station directly. Transfer to Yurikamome line at Shimbashi.

From Haneda, Tokyo Monorail is also convenient.

Tokyo Monorail terminal station “Hamamatsu-cho” is the next to “Shimbashi” by JR line.
So change train to “JR Yamanote line (the green line)” or “JR Keihin-Tohoku line” (the sky-blue line) at Hamamatsu-cho to Shimbashi. Transfer to Yurikamome line at Shimbashi.

You have other options by train. Try various ground transportation in Tokyo when you got used to Tokyo!

 

Access from airports by taxi

From Haneda, the fare would be about 5,000 Japanese yen or less and duration is about 20 minutes. No reservation is needed, just pick up one at the terminal.

From Narita, regular rate is very expensive but they have discount, fixed-rate taxi service. It is 16,000 Japanese yen but you need to reserve. If you are interested in this, please contact the GIW-ISCB-Asia office.
